Before and After

A 37-year-old woman suffering from multiple health and dental concerns was proactively seeking to make a lifestyle change—one that included addressing her dental needs.

Ultimately, her oral treatment regimen involved a multidisciplinary approach that involved various dental specialists, including the expertise and work that Dr. Inna contributed. Her upper arch rehabilitation included root canals, gum procedures, and ceramic crowns, resulting in a spectacular improvement in her smile.

As can be seen in the photo on the left, this young woman had a chipped upper lateral incisor that was the result of her having accidentally fallen.

A single, custom-shade porcelain veneer, which was flawless in color and shape, was fabricated and affixed, effectively restoring the beauty of her smile.

This photo on the left of this woman’s mouth shows a large fracture of an upper central incisor that required the challenging fabrication of a single porcelain veneer that would match the adjacent tooth.

This patient was overjoyed with her new smile.

This patient came to our office with an existing metal and porcelain bridge on his upper teeth that was being used as a solution for his missing two front teeth. His request for improvements were based on his unhappiness with the metal showing around the gum line as well as the current color and overall  appearance of what he was wearing.

A new ceramic bridge was created and installed that blends well with his adjacent teeth—and he is quite happy.

The woman whose before-and-after photos appear here made an appointment with our office because she did not like how worn her upper teeth appeared, nor their color.

Eight single custom-shade porcelain veneers were created by a wonderful partner laboratory in order to achieve a uniform and custom look that the patient declared to be perfect—and we agree.

This is a before-and-after example photo sequence for a patient who arrived in our office for a routine cleaning appointment. As you can see, plaque, stains, and tartar are present on the inside aspect of patient’s lower arch teeth.

After our team debrided the surfaces of the teeth using an ultrasonic scaler, the patient departed with a smile that was sporting a nice clean look.

The young adult whose before-and-after photos appear here came into our office with a large frenum between her upper front teeth that, for multiple reasons, needed to be removed.

Fortunately for her, we utilize a soft tissue laser to simply and painlessly remove the frenum, and patients who undergo this procedure report minimal post-operative discomfort. In fact, no scalpel or sutures were used in this procedure.

This is yet another example showing the benefits of our soft tissue laser utilization. As you see in the before photo, part of the gum covers the back tooth, thereby inhibiting the patient’s ability to practice good oral home care. This needs to be addressed because the overgrowth of gum actually aids the formation of plaque, and leads to inflammation and ultimately the possibility of caries forming in the tooth.

Soft tissue laser treatment handles this scenario quickly and simply by uncovering the chewing surface of the tooth, giving it a clean, healthy look and allowing the patient to brush the area well after its completion.
